I spotted EW as a garden variety troll long ago, but nobody believed me. People that gullible just don't exist. Gypsy, is that you? Hope this is specific enough for you: Latitude 19.5440218 Longitude - 154.9019104 If that's too difficult, anywhere in the middle of Hawaiian Beaches, say from K to Q streets. And of course, anywhere in Leilani, you know, where people who lost their homes and livelihood are trying to pick up the pieces. But don't worry, our illustrious senator Kahele is on it,as well as the Hawaii Helicopter Association, except they forgot to include ANYONE FROM PUNA. Ya, I'm probably a troll with no special interest or information.

When explaining your intolerance to a persons opinion will only make you look worse .. choose the ad hominem approach. |

Thank you for the location, Lolo. You are the first one to ever reply to a simple request. Could you also tell me what the peaktimes are for the helicopters and also approximately how many I should expect to see (and hear) every hour? |

I'm still volunteering in Leilani 4 or 5 days a week and not seeing any pattern with the helicopters but not charting them either focused on other things. Some days non-stop, all day, other days less but still active and around, you won't go too long without them overhead. Can't give locations since one my duties is security.
Personally I like helicopters, wish I had one and at the same time I think the ones currently flying over Leilani are generating way too much noise for the well being of the residents due to being ever present. Not respectful whatsoever to the point of cruelty. |

EW: I wasn't kidding about the part where I'm noticing more jets leaving contrails out here in Puna. I work outside a lot and enjoy hearing the peaceful sounds of nature when I do, (no radio or headphones) so I'm able to notice the quietest jet engine way up in the atmosphere.
Why is anyone letting him/her join in any reindeer games by responding? Just like the other high level trolls on PunaWeb, s/he never really engages or considers any response, but just uses any attention to pipe up with more words guaranteed to ruffle feathers...leading to more responses. Like this one I guess. :( But really? Really?
Cheers, Kirt

Knieft I post earnest questions and have posted a joke here and there but never am I intending to troll anyone. However is someone gives me $hit, you can bet I'll shovel it back in their direction. More and more you are coming across as a strait up a$$-hole. Just leave me alone. I would be fine if I never had any more communication with you.
Paul: I thought you were hard to deal with but knieft is worse. I am not and have never been Gypsy. I don't care if you don't like my opinions and lifestyle, we are each entitled to our own.
Lolo: What? I'm confused by many of your comments. No insult intended. |

Two members each from DOT, FAA, Hawaii Helicopter Association, and "community representatives" (neither of whom lives in Puna). Not open to the public, nor was HICoP invited

You have a right to be confused, no insult taken. I'm new to this and get confused replying. I was just trying to clarify where the helicopter noise is with the latitude and longitude. |

Lolo, it's probably best not to "quote" a post, it just gets very confusing. |

So when I compose a new comment, at a certain point the 'Submit Reply' disappears. Which is why I have been replying within the original post. Confusing? |

EW, this a thread about helicopter noise and you posted about chemtrails, 9/11 and Flat Earth. Not surprising that it gets a reaction. No, I don't think you're Gypsy, good riddance to him. |

Lolo, I took a moment to read your post history. You say you're not a troll, but your post history is a little aggressive, and you're deliberately circumnavigating the swear filter to insult people. You only signed up like, last month, so, I'm not rushing to judgement either way. With that said, I can see how some people might think you're a troll from the aforementioned behavior you have exhibited so far.
Aloha :) |
