Hawaii’s Slow Coast. Slow Coast? - Moderator 2 - 01-13-2025 From Hilo to Hamakua to Mauna Kea Resort. Hotels. Restaurants. Farms. https://www.cntraveler.com/story/best-things-to-do-on-the-big-island-hawaii-slow-coast RE: Hawaii’s Slow Coast. Slow Coast? - HiloJulie - 01-13-2025 Oh yeah! Nice and slow! I'll second EVERY restaurant mentioned! RE: Hawaii’s Slow Coast. Slow Coast? - kalianna - 01-13-2025 Puna? Whatʻs Puna? Nothinʻ to see here, folks. RE: Hawaii’s Slow Coast. This is in the agreement you accepted. You are not in control; deal with it. RE: Hawaii’s Slow Coast. Slow Coast? - kalianna - 01-13-2025 Control???? Poor Tom. I un-ignore you every once in awhile to see if you might have anything constructive to say but youʻve become such a bitter old curmudgeon that all you do any more is bicker with other posters. My post referred to the fact that the East island "slow coast" seems to end no farther south than Hilo. That's all. It was not an editorial about Punaweb, you poor dear. And one more thing I can clear up for you before we hit the old ignore button again; your affrontery at another poster's use of he word "Western more" was in fact just a typo or spelling error that was intended as "mores". That was pretty much a DUH but you didn't get it, did you? Bye bye. I'll try you again in a few weeks. Bicker on, bro. RE: Hawaii’s Slow Coast. Most people who say they're ignoring you rarely do, and you are no exception. You also said there is nothing to see here. You just demonstrated it by complaining about "mores". You read my posts. "your affrontery at another poster's use of he word "Western more" was in fact just a typo or spelling error that was intended as "mores"" Really? There is a group of people called "mores"? Tell us about them. RE: Hawaii’s Slow Coast. Slow Coast? - HereOnThePrimalEdge - 01-13-2025 the East island "slow coast" seems to end no farther south than Hilo I think at that point it changes to The Pakalolo Coast. Never been updated. RE: Hawaii’s Slow Coast. Slow Coast? - randomq - 01-13-2025 At just under $1000 / night, the Mauna Kea beach hotel will bring you right back to the 80's. In fact, the carpet, bedding, and cheap artwork may actually be four decades old. I'd much rather stay at the Hamakua Hotel, a pittance at under $700 / night, with convenient cliff access and so many entertainment options... Pity the fools slumming at Atlantis in the Bahamas for $340 / night, or the all-inclusive resorts on the island of Cozumel for $200. They are probably crying into their free drinks at the swim-up bar, wishing they were in Hawaii. |
