Apple Music 6 Months $2.99 - HereOnThePrimalEdge - 02-16-2025

I believe this offer is only good for new subscribers, who never subscribed before.  It’s an unbelievably low price:

"Redeem on iPhone, iPad, or Mac running the latest software.

Open the Apple Music app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac and sign in with
your Apple Account. If the offer doesn't appear immediately after launching
the app, go to the Home tab, where it will appear.
"

That's a fantastic deal for those who have that stuff.

Just a community service note:

Apple has very strict requirements to the number of authorized devices allowable on your Apple account.

You are allowed a maximum of 5 PC's or MAC's on your account as authorized devices or a maximum total of 10 devices such as iPhones and iPads which would include the 5 PC's or MAC's.

The issue of note comes into play when people get a new iPhone, iPad or PC or a MAC and do not "deauthorize" the "old" device(s) BEFORE getting a new one or if you ever "wipe" the old one.

Once you hit the maximum number of PC's/MACS or total devices, if you do not deauthorize the old device prior to authorizing the new device, you have to wait one year for it to "expire"

Apple may, at their discretion, deauthorize all devices upon a well written mea culpa plea for forgiveness, but once and only once!

At any event, the $2.99 deal is a GREAT one!

Wow, I had no idea Apple wanted to control their users so much.

"Wow, I had no idea Apple wanted to control their users so much."

Once you take a bite of that Apple, just like a Lay's potato chip, you can't stop!

Apple has very strict requirements to the number of authorized devices allowable on your Apple account.

Not exactly.

Normal users can have up to ten devices (no more than five of them computers) associated with an Apple ID and iTunes at one time.

Note the "at one time" part. You can have all the devices you want but can only be logged in and using Apple services with ten of them at any given moment.

Also, older devices (5 to 7 years after manufactured) fall off the list automatically, and continue to work fine for other than Apple services..

How many "normal" users have ten devices and five computers?  Just curious. Does that number include family members?

"How many "normal" users have ten devices and five computers?  Just curious. Does that number include family members?"

I doubt very few.

And it's 10 devices TOTAL - 5 of which CAN BE PC's or MAC's

But when your 15-year-old grandson figures out your apple account log in and sets up 6 of his friends so they can listen to all the cool music grandma has, but then as we know with 15-year-olds, they seemingly get a new phone every few weeks, so our issue was that the "old phones" were still "logged in" to my account, but then "wiped" clean before being taken into the Apple Store for their new ones which then triggered the "too many devices" warning when they tried to log into my account and then the inability of me to delete the old phones from my account as they were showing as logged in on my account but grayed out and would not let me delete them nor add any new devices.

Apple support did rectify the situation by deleting every device on my account after I sent them a support ticket.

I also no longer allow my grandson access to my Apple account.

Thanks for the info. I'll leave this to Apple users to argue amongst themselves.

I've been so disappointed with Apple hardware, software and service for the past several years.... I am tired of hearing their name. They've really gone downhill.
