It's worse than that. He's scared sh*tless. So much so he's lost all ability to reason. The unfortunate part is he's not alone. Our inability to raise mature adults has spawned a generation of underdeveloped, emotionally stunted, people that are no better than drones. Not a few, millions upon millions, who haven't the ability to sort through all the noise and as such have become no more than mindless zombies.

It was clear when they started chanting 'lock her up.' These people are unable to participate, as reasoning adults, in society. And, as such, have left themselves open to be manipulated by forces that want to destroy ours.

Imagine when the looming climate crises converges on a society in collapse.. that's the road these folks are taking us down.

85+ Years 29.4% 

So 77% of the covid casualties are senior citizens and yet we want to fight over masks in school and shots for children.

Going with that 0.1% number above, that's 1 in 1000. If you were at the store, and (for once) it was stock full of bananas, say 1000, but you knew that 1 of the bananas in there would kill you, would you purchase a banana? Maybe some would, but I would think almost no one would. If people just get a free, nearly painless, 30 second procedure vaccine, that 1:1000 goes way down, cases go way down, there won't be any need for mask mandates, and we can get back to normal (whatever that means going forward) life.

What lockdowns?

Those percentages fail to recognize that the vast majority of deaths occurred prior to vaccines being available-January 2020-February 2021.   I believe the number of deaths in 2021 from Covid is around 100,000, about 1/7 the total number of US covid deaths.  For 2021, age group 50-65 is almost equal to older groups for deaths.  These are not senior citizens!
And of course, many hospitalized survive, so total burden on society/health care professionals is greater than that.

Durian Fiend, I donʻt argue your point but the numbers Iʻve seen are very different. On 1/1/21 the US death toll was about 354,000. On 4/1 it was 554,000. We hit 700K deaths around 10/6. So there have been about 350K deaths in 2021, and just in the six months that the vaccine has become widely available we have still seen more than 150K deaths. But I hear thatʻs nothing to worry about.

Yeah, what lockdowns and quarantines? Have there been any here in 2021? Kids are back in school, it's on us to get vaccinated and try not to spread Covid to them until they can get the shot.
