Ok, So there are a bunch of issues Tom.
Doing some Delta V calculations on a Lox Engine for the second stage would need to be close to 2800Kg wet. (2500Kg of fuel, 200Kg Payload, and 100Kg for Engine, turbo pump, comms, guidance etc)
The centripetal forces (about 10,000G) will create a load of 32,000,000Kg of force At the end of each arm.
They aren't very clear of what magical device they plan on using to hold that kind of force that could be released in less than a millisecond, But if they plan on using explosive bolts they would be gargantuan. A 4.5" bolt will only hold 566,000KG. Explosive bolts of that size may damage the payload.
They conveniently leave out where they are going to dump the counterweight going 2Km/s at the same time the payload is launched. a 2800Kg mass or 1.3Tons kinetic equiv of TNT in the sand ought to make a thud.
Can they make a vacuum chamber that will hold stable at a few mT? maybe.
Can they detonate all the explosive bolts within a few ms. sure.
Will the payload survive the launch? doubtful.
Im kinda looking forward to the rapid unscheduled demolition it will be entertaining.

Kander - the issues you bring up are discussed in detail in the video links I provided. What disappoints me is that you haven't addressed your claims that SpinLaunch is a fraud, that the people that work for them are no better than high-school physics students, and that a lackluster video in any way invalidates the feasibility of the project.

And finally, sorry, saying "a small group of people" is not racist and is not a keyword for anything, it says exactly what I meant. If you want to interpret it in your own way, then fine, but you are wrong.
