Seen any bad movies recently? - TomK - 01-28-2023

Just thought I'd counter the "Seen any good movies lately?" thread with this. Has anyone watched some really bad movies recently that need to be avoided?

I'm halfway through this one, but can't manage to watch more than ten minutes at a time because it gives me a headache. I think it's based on Jaws, at least a big shark that eats people, and appears to be set and filmed in Hawaii (mostly Maui) and released in 2022. I'm at the point when one of the guests on a boat decides to stab a Maui Brewing Company can of beer with a big knife and stabs his hand and so there's a lot of blood.

I really can't wait to see what happens next.  Perhaps I'll watch the rest tomorrow.

LOL. The trailer suggests it would be too bloody for me. The good news is there are many young women in bikinis.

Worst one of date. Phizer exposed from the horses mouth.

Worst one of date.

Definitely.
Project Veritas definitely wins again for worst, most deceptive editing, and bad faith actors.

This is a Garbage production, for sure, but NOT a motion picture!

At least the poster realized it was bad, even if it wasn't a movie. I suspect getting one out of two correct is a success for 'elepaio, even if it undermines his own position on vaccines. Anyway, back to movies...

How about Jurassic Park Dominion? It's awful. Me Time is even worse.

It’s called “RRR” and it’s on HBO Max or Netflix I think. It’s a weird Indian action movie with some impressive scenes, but the whole of it is hallucinatory and interrupted with giant letters that signify nothing, slowly turning to exotic drum beats. On my deathbed I will be wishing for those nearly three hours back.

I haven’t seen it, but I’m willing to bet this flick is terrible from the title alone:
Cocaine Bear

Based on a true story.

RE: Seen any bad movies recently? - TomK - 02-02-2023

Well, yes, after watching the trailer this one is off my list. It even says it's based on a true story. Perhaps there was a bear that once accidentally ate some cocaine which I don't think is too far-fetched. But the rest just looks like nonsense. It made me remember watching Fargo for other reasons. In that movie, they claimed it was based on a true story, which it wasn't, but made one of the best movies of all time.
