It's so wonderful to wake up in the night to the sound of rain in Puna. We missed it so. I watched the kids in the park downtown play soccer in the rain from my office window on Thursday. Our garden will love it.

The rain is great! We were just trying to decide whether we should order some... but figured it would rain as soon as we did and I'm glad we held out!

We got to the point of ordering water, and I found out the price went up to $200. I shut off the pump and valves to the house and started filling jugs on our daily trips past the spigots (Thanks Harry).
After a week of spongebaths, paper plates, and no laundry; I'm stoked to have the pump back on. (Restrictions still in place)[
