Proud Mommy Moment - DigitalWahine - 01-28-2012
If you shop at the Hilo Home Depot, then you've probably seen my son mixing paint or helping out in garden or electrical. I know when your "children" get to be a certain age, it's not always cool to gush over them, but hey sometimes they do things out of the blue that just make you beam with pride.
I hope you'll watch. The video is G rated and can be watched by all audiences.

I love HD, and I love this video. At the end it says, "Vote for me!" Is there a way we can vote for him, or is it an internal HD process? Regardless, he deserves to win.

Love it! Your son has waited on me many times, too, so it was a kick seeing him sing. He has a great voice. Koa's also waited on me - very very nice and helpful young men. If he's embarrassed by you posting the link, just tell him it's great publicity for his band!

His band, N.Y.R.'s webpage is at http://www.reverbnation.com/nyrmusic. They have music on there for download, you can watch videos and get their show schedule.
The band is also competing in the HardRock Rising Maui. In the 1st round of voting only fb users whose location is within 100 miles of Lahaina and download the band's song "Woah Oh" will count as a "vote" for the band. When they make it to the 2nd round of voting it becomes a global competition with the grand prize getting to play at the Hard Rock Cafe in Hyde Park, London, England.
Keep your fingers crossed for him!
