The 45's disappeared and I had to reorient the antenna to get them back. Aimed them just a little more west. Now my scan is also getting 41.8 and 41.9 (but only black screens). I remember getting them before but don't recall what the signal was. H22 know? Anybody else?

RE: OTA tv channels after this storm - H22 - 02-28-2015

Yes-- 41.8 and 41.9 are non-video channels and part of the UpdateTV service which carries software updates for smart TVs over-the-air. It comes from Kulani Cone near Volcano, and piggybacks on the Hawaii PBS signal. If you ever get 28.8/28.9 or 19.8/19.9, those are the same thing (from Saddle & Hilo respectively).

As always, thanks for the info! We get 28.8/.9 all the time (can't seem to get rid of them) and I recall getting the 19s aiming in a different direction.

You are a wealth of information!
