According to the AP, the resort will be auctioned to the highest bidder, as is, 10% down if you have the winning bid. Ghosts of former visitors haunting the hallways may or may not be included.

fwiw, you can easily follow King Kaumualii all the way to the still living Abigail (Kekau) 95 yrs old today..
it goes through
Abigail Campbell Kawānanakoa and David Kawānanakoa
Abigail Campbell Kawānanakoa's mother was Abigail Kuaihelani Campbell Parker (Married into Oahu's Campbell and the Big Island's Parker families)
then to Lydia Liliuokalani Kawānanakoa
then to Abigail Kinoiki Kekaulike Kawānanakoa (still living, 95)
