Hawaiian beaches?? - JerryCarr - 08-10-2007 Solidarity is a powerful thing. Bear and I would go. Cheers, Jerry RE: Moving to Puna?? Hawaiian beaches?? - Jeffhale - 08-11-2007 Oh boy, that would be something. But today, tomorrow, or Monday would be the time to do it.. I thought not long ago, "Gee Scott's got canceled which was sounding like one of the biggest gatherings yet, we could just do it at our place but, it's too rough and all, nah.." We are headed back Tuesday. That inspector is making us get a grading permit and they said it could be two months to two years held up in DLNR, and Hawaii Burial 'thing'. No there's no graves or artifacts, that's just the chain a grading permit has to go through. So, we are headed back, rather than spinning our wheels like we've done so much in the past 3 months, till who knows when this Tuesday.. But heck we are game. we are planning to be finishing up a small rock wall and planting the rest of our, hopefully NOT sacrificial plants, nearly 100 total about ten left as of today, today/tomorrow. We would be more than happy to have a gathering, but time does not seem to be in our favor.. BTW, The BIG avocado tree behind our lot, not bad neighbor's but rental house, is making choke, dropping every where including our lot, and plenty for all. And, our smaller one, (they didn't cut) has began dropping too. Free avocados, especially if you have a fruit picking pole, help yourself, while we are here or later..
