RE: Fukushima - Bullwinkle - 12-30-2013 9 pages three years and no closer to containment..... RE: Fukushima - 7Shadows - 01-01-2014 Interactive Japan Radiation Measurement Map http://jciv.iidj.net/map/%20RADIATION RE: Fukushima - PaulW - 01-01-2014 It's heartening to see that rationality persists. I still wonder about the motives of the scaremongers. RE: Fukushima - Bullwinkle - 01-01-2014 More good news "Mystery Steam Over Fukushima Could Be Sign of Another Meltdown" as of today :http://gizmodo.com/radioactive-mystery-steam-over-fukushima-could-mean-ano-1492280971 The newest update in the highly disconcerting series of devastating failures that is the Fukushima cleanup effort is troubling to say the least. Tepco has confirmed that (unexplained) plumes of steam have been rising from the mangled remains of Reactor Building 3. In other words, there's a chance Fukushima could be in the middle of another meltdown. http://rt.com/news/fukushima-steam-nuclear-reactor-064/ RE: Fukushima - PaulW - 01-01-2014 There are many reputable websites out there, why read that nonsense? RE: Fukushima - Bullwinkle - 01-01-2014 each his own .... beats fox - grin These guys do a pretty good job - why - because they are always being fact checked by the mainstream media... here is the link again: http://rt.com/news/fukushima-steam-nuclear-reactor-064/ dollars to donuts the us media will run with this in a day or two RE: Fukushima - PaulW - 01-01-2014 Why do people constantly mention Fox News? I was talking about reputable news sources. You and others have been predicting doom and destruction for nearly 3 years now and what has been the result? Nothing. What happened to all the people rushing out to buy geiger counters? Where are the readings? Are you really this scared yourself or do you like trying to scare other people? You seem to be knowledgable and well-travelled but obviously you understand zip about radiation and don't seem to realize how far away Japan is. Really, you can stop living in fear if you just read some websites from some real news sources. RE: Fukushima - Bullwinkle - 01-02-2014 Interest and insight dont equate to fear mongering in my book Paul. My concern is the cumulative damage we do as specie to our planet and island. Simple stuff - I dont do fear.... thats for folks who dont believe they have a voice or way out. France does a good 24 hr news show as well - its the US networks with add revenue to protect that fail to inform us - fox is the leader in that venue imho..... denial is not a river in Egypt ..... here is a link to the French TV its free, commercial free and great fun on a rainy afternoon, try a test drive :http://www.france24.com/en/livefeed/ RE: Fukushima - Guest - 01-02-2014 I cant see how making people aware of this horrible incident, is fear mongering. Fox news, is fear mongering. Pretty much all news is fear mongering. Wanting to know what happens when a radioactive facility explodes and dumps into the ocean that surrounds your home, is normal.
