Chas, the sandalwood that would be appropriate at HPP is ‘iliahialo‘e, Santalum ellipticum. If you have ever been to Makapuu Beach Park on Oahu, there is quite a bit of it there. On the Big Island it seems to be gone from the coast and there are only a few found in the mountains, but there might be people growing it.
