RE: Most expensive groceries in the country... - Moderator 2 - 01-31-2026 OK, any more and the entire post will be deleted. Yes, even quoting a previous post. Use the thesaurus people. https://www.onelook.com/thesaurus/ RE: Most expensive groceries in the country... - HiloJulie - 01-31-2026 Yes, Tangy, you have convinced me beyond a shadow of any doubt so much so that I am now absolutely positive that the picture you grabbed off the internet that has been used tens of thousands of times all over right wing social media sites as a meme to poke fun at a Somali American coupled with the "We performatively spritzed it with Braggs Apple Cider Vingar"[sic] which happens to be the very same liquid sprayed on an elected Somali American US Representative during an attack on that individual was all just a sheer coincidence and had no other ulterior motives whatsoever except your unconditional acceptance and love of everyone. Especially the poor downtrodden hungry Puna resident. Yeah, I believe you Tangy, and I also have a few bridges in stock and ready for immediate sale here in Hilo, and for you Tang, I will give you a one time special significant discount! But only if you supply me with a nice glass of some delicious ICE cold ORANGE Tang! (no "double" meanings implied) ETA: I see even more closeted right wingers are now coming out of the woodwork. Like all those nasty Coconut Rhinoceros Beetles all over lower Puna. RE: Most expensive groceries in the country... - ironyak - 01-31-2026 Wahine - You're mistaken, Ironyak. Kane is referring to this entire thread... Strange that he can't speak for himself, but if he's really saying that all the time and effort put into this discussion is nothing but excrement, then maybe that's even a bolder statement about how he views everyone on Punaweb... Maybe we should all just go back to where we came from? (playing dumb is dumb and doesn't actually lead to people talking to one another as I though was your stated interest? Remember I'm supposed to be the Not Respected one ;) RE: Most expensive groceries in the country... - MyManao - 01-31-2026 Kane - Cesspoolhole And, omg, the EPA has something to say about that! Oh, wait, did his highness trash the EPA? Can we get back to trashing our environment? Rice for breakfast? I eat oatmeal.. along with a wonderful assortment of fruits.. depending on the season and all that. Have a weird thing about eating lunch/dinner foods for breakfast. Never took to that one.. And my breakfast cost pennies.. because I have a lifetime of relationship with mother.. she provides. But the single mom with a clutch of kids and a lot to do just to get them off in the morning and such, I doubt she has the same bounty.. Justifying people's suffering is sad.. helping them is the only answer.. and snap goes along way toward doing just that. Anyone that opens their mouth to disparage it should be deported.. to the frickin' dark side of the moon. And, to be clear.. if you don't like fraud go after the fraudsters. Using them as an excuse to be mean to people in need is evil. RE: Most expensive groceries in the country... - Wao nahele wahine - 01-31-2026 Hmm...all I see are Punawebbers. He's busy making breakfast at home, so I offered to post clarification for him with his approval. Nice try with the whole viewing everyone on Punaweb as excrement. I'm all for people talking CIVILLY.

RE: Most expensive groceries in the country... - Wao nahele kane - 01-31-2026 To moderator 2... it's very interesting that you have let the word sh1t stand solo on several occasions in this topic and many others... yet you somehow found it within yourself to moderate my use of a stand alone compound noun version of the word. Check yourself. Since you clearly lack impartiality and consistency, your moderation abilities are (How shoud it be expressed?) subpar, to put it politely. It's one of the main reasons the whole forum has become a cesspit. RE: Most expensive groceries in the country... - ironyak - 01-31-2026 Wahine - I'm all for people talking CIVILLY. Civilly, so like calling the everyone's contributions a "####hole"? (insert "double standards or none at all" joke here - come on, you're better than this, right?) Civilly: politely; courteously. Antonym: Rudely, as in "Everything that everyone has said is nothing more than a dunghole". Am I the only one who actually uses a dictionary these days (and a thesaurus Mod, I promise - how many diverse scatological terms are we allowed? You understand the new goal is for them to get this thread deleted as it's not been a great look - maybe don't allow their willingness to disrupt actually prevent and remove everyone's discussion?) |
