Author and source? Otherwise you are publishing someone else's words without attribution which is theft of intellectual property. In addition it is hard to evaluate the validity of information without knowing what literature and research all those footnote numbers lead to. Is this real research based psychology, or just some internet wingnut spouting off half truths and twisted logic to support their position. Without sources or an author cited we will never know.
There certainly is a lot of denial, projection and reaction formation expressed by the writer, which is kind of funny since that is what the author is accusing those he/she disagrees with of doing.

I think the content of the essay disqualifies it as "intellectual" property.
example quote; "or the person who wants to outlaw self-defense and believes innocent people have the obligation to be raped and murdered for the good of society".
I'd have to say that the majority of people I know don't feel this obligation.

This is not true of "education experts" in Hilo IMHO. Hilo had, at one time, one of the best domestic violence programs in the country: Alternatives to Violence modeled on the DV prevention program in Duluth, MN. And although it was geared to DV, family court judges sent many other offenders to it.
One of the main tenets was "its okay to be angry, its not okay to be violent". The facilitators worked really hard teaching batterers how to express all the emotions you wrote of including anger, of course, in non-violent ways. Some of the program used what was formerly called Non-Violent Communication Training now called Compassionate Communication. Many of the facilitators worked with school programs also regarding NVC.
Violence statistically is about power and control. http://www.uic.edu/depts/owa/power_control-wheel.html is a link to the power and control wheel for domestic violence and it is out of date as it uses he/she it shows the cycle.
Now back to the regular programming.

This Mauka has labeled me a racist and that seem to be OK. and now wants to walk away pure as the driven snow without any soup stains on his bib.
I call him a pompous as* because that is what he is. He is trying to defame me with his manifested and false accusations. For this, I get another warning of being a troll.
