I've never seen an Albezia branch collapse in on itself and there's no way I'd trust one of those massive trees to rot away nicely on its own if it were near my house! Yikes! Eric, I'd say your neighbor is either very brave or a few cells short of a full battery! Smile

I agree with you, Yurtgirl, but I have seen other people ringbark these huge trees and leave them to collaps. I was down in HPP at a friends house, standing in his driveway when I heard an ominous groan. Looking in the direction the sound was coming from I saw a huge tree fall over. It early hit the closest house. The homeowner had ringbarked it. Just took a chance I guess.

Not knowing where your lot is, we worked with a member of the Nanwale Community association, Glen Bousquet. He walked our lot and took down an Octopus tree for us. Very reasonable. You can reach him through the Nanawale Community Association.
