What? What did you say? Just be thankful those subs are on wheels that eventually move away... I've experienced those cars going to the park to let their kids go play. I can only imagine the hearing damage to them sitting in the back seat.

Oh well... Save the Children! Big Grin

Yes, one can lament on the noise but, IMO, its simply a repeating pattern of one generation not understanding the next. Cry n complain on a forum they will never read nor care about, face them head on ( doubtful ) or try to learn and understand ... Solace is they will someday be whining about something trivial like you are now when they are in the same position of cluelessness.

I think it's more about drug dealers and drug use than a different generation. Not all folk "their" age have crazy cranked out sound systems. Like you point out its hard to make sweeping statements, but when I see the people that get out of those cars they look neither friendly nor sober so I naturally think drug dealer / user. It's not to far of a jump?

It is about as far as a jump one can make by saying that if a black man robbed the store, all black men are robbers.

As for what a Troll would say, I find your comments spot on!

Not sure how this pertains to loud music, but im sure some consider my Donkeys as making a lot of excessive "noise".... Yes I'm on 40th! One mans joy is another mans Noise! [Big Grin]

When we had problems with a paraglider passing 100 feet over our house at 6am, I looked up the Hawaii noise code. It states all Land zoned Ag. can produce up to 70 decibels of sound 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I was told that if someone wanted to run their farm equiptment or bulldozer all night it would not be against any noise laws.

I must remember we bought and built our home on Land Zoned for Agriculture.

Recently I was told by a friend that someone was considering pulling a permit for a gun club with a range, on property located right off of Pohaku, backing up to Shipman land. Probably just a rumor but thought it might be worth mentioning.

Remember it could be worse..... A little Bass might not be so terrible compared to something else.

I used to have an infinite baffle subwoofer set up in my house. Four 15" subwoofers and 2500 watts of power, I could hit reference volume on a 10 hz sign wave. I will be installing it again soon, hope you like organ music. It sounds like you are in the church, the walls move in and out a couple inches. Smile

I can't hear any stereos. The rooster farm and those screaming parrots drown everything else out.
