do any of these organizations accept feral or otherwise homeless cats that people trap? I am contemplating trapping a couple cats near me after they tore up one of my own beloved cats pretty good last night. However, I don't want to take them to the HS where they'll euthanize them on the spot. I want them to have a second chance, just not to kill my pets. Big moral dilemma here.

Yes, Kathy.

Brian will email you privately in regards to your cats.

The feral cats are in a special "cattery" at Rainbow Friends. Eventually ,with the daily human contact, they will become tame and are adopted out. That process can take up to a year ( in the most extreme circumstance).

Kathy ,

The email Brian sent was returned.

Perhaps you have an alternate email address than the one listed here ?

The Trib-Herald has a wonderful article today on the wonderful volunteer outreach that happened yesterday in extreme makeover - animal edition!
This was a great response to the work May Rose does, and the work of 'Hear Now' inventor Simon Wilby.
After the flood the sanctuary experienced last month, this is a wonderful community response!
