RE: Have you tried a Ballwich? - malolo - 07-18-2014 Two different restaurants, right? If I'm understanding things correctly, the new Volcano House Restaurant is in the same old (refurbished) Volcano House building, inside the National Park, and the Volcano Coffee House is in Volcano Village, a mile outside the park. Two distinct possibilities up the hill, besides the great Thai food at Thai Thai. RE: Have you tried a Ballwich? - Kelena - 07-18-2014 I haven't tried a ballwich. I've had a manwich. And also a man witch. And poi balls, too. Onolicious! RE: Have you tried a Ballwich? - dayna - 07-18-2014 Mimosa, the Volcano coffee house is not the Volcano house. Two totally different places. Its a lot of food for one person, so we shared. RE: Have you tried a Ballwich? - dayna - 07-19-2014 And while we were there I asked and she serves a blend/variety of coffee. For espresso though she does use starbucks, and I agree with her reasons. I too find that hawaii coffee does not make a good strong espresso, but it does make a fabulous cup of regular coffee. The two balls we had on our ballwich was the French Ball (stuffed with brie) and the German Ball (stuffed with sourkraut). Both tasty! Dayna http://www.FarmingAloha.com www.E-Z-Caps.com |
