RE: If you were to set up a stall at the Makuu Market - emorata - 10-01-2007 How about a dollar dunk a person (local politician, cop, high profile person) to get some extra funds for some project????? RE: If you were to set up a stall at the Makuu Market - Samdooby - 10-01-2007 I think a good sandwhich set up would work. Cubans, tortas, all differetn meats and cheeses, MUST be toasted though. Good bread,(O'Keefe's?) something of that nature. Just my 2 cents... RE: If you were to set up a stall at the Makuu Market - Loretta - 10-01-2007 I think some of the market patrons would enjoy a hot shower.....and the rest of us would enjoy it also RE: If you were to set up a stall at the Makuu Market - mella l - 10-01-2007 Carrie How about some Haku, made of antique ribbon flowers? I'd love one or three! Aloha, mella l RE: If you were to set up a stall at the Makuu Market - Carolann R - 10-01-2007 Oooo, that's a pretty idea. Kinda renaissance hawaii? U2 RE: If you were to set up a stall at the Makuu Market - Greg - 10-01-2007 The Maku'u Farmers association have set aside a number of booths for non profits to fund raise or promote their organization. I believe they're free. Check it out! This market is really growing and improving every week. RE: If you were to set up a stall at the Makuu Market - Iju - 10-04-2007 I wish I could buy Sharky's coffee beans at Maku'u. Just from reading John and other punawebber comments in the past, I would like to try it but don't want to pay the $5 shipping cost. Val RE: If you were to set up a stall at the Makuu Market - emorata - 10-05-2007 sounds like food items are the hands down winner with all the locals...has anyone seen desserts being sold there...i know there's only the filipino bakers that do the local taro bread and other sweet breads which i'm fond of but maybe looking into expanding the repetoire RE: If you were to set up a stall at the Makuu Market - robguz - 10-05-2007 I usually do see Sharky's for sale at Maku'u. It's usually sort of in the middle. I've seen it at Hilo too sometimes. RE: If you were to set up a stall at the Makuu Market - John S.
