I think a good sandwhich set up would work.
Cubans, tortas, all differetn meats and cheeses, MUST be toasted though. Good bread,(O'Keefe's?) something of that nature. Just my 2 cents...

The Maku'u Farmers association have set aside a number of booths for non profits to fund raise or promote their organization. I believe they're free. Check it out! This market is really growing and improving every week.

I wish I could buy Sharky's coffee beans at Maku'u. Just from reading John and other punawebber comments in the past, I would like to try it but don't want to pay the $5 shipping cost.

sounds like food items are the hands down winner with all the locals...has anyone seen desserts being sold there...i know there's only the filipino bakers that do the local taro bread and other sweet breads which i'm fond of but maybe looking into expanding the repetoire

I usually do see Sharky's for sale at Maku'u. It's usually sort of in the middle. I've seen it at Hilo too sometimes.
