RE: Is your Turkey Safe to Eat- CDC Alert - Kapohocat - 11-25-2014 We are having prime rib - my hubby isnt fond of turkey. RE: Is your Turkey Safe to Eat- CDC Alert - punafish - 11-25-2014 The brave people on this thread have inspired me to come out of the closet: I don't like Turkey dinner either! My other confession is that I'd rather have good sushi. Please don't tell my siblings. Here is a link to the what one person thinks was the first menu - http://www.yankeemagazine.com/new-england-food-cooking/a-truly-traditional-thanksgiving-menu RE: Is your Turkey Safe to Eat- CDC Alert - SBH - 11-25-2014 11 Steps For Cooking A PERFECT Thanksgiving Turkey: http://www.theonion.com/articles/11-steps-for-cooking-a-perfect-thanksgiving-turkey,34625/#1 RE: Is your Turkey Safe to Eat- CDC Alert - Anxious Messiah - 11-25-2014 Actually saw a clip of a culinary instructor on the mainland admit that they would toss their frozen bird into the pool to thaw it out each year. _________________________________________ Don't speak unless you can improve on the silence. RE: Is your Turkey Safe to Eat- CDC Alert - TomK - 11-25-2014 Punafish - I've been asked to cook Wiener schnitzel with an accompaniment of Austrian potato salad for Thanksgiving. Definitely non-traditional but am looking forward to the opportunity. I will certainly, however, check to see if things turn green while they cook. Don't want to give asian flu to everyone. RE: Is your Turkey Safe to Eat- CDC Alert - beepbeep - 11-25-2014 I am extremely jealous of anyone who gets to have Tom's Weiner schnitzel and my favorite potato salad in the world for Thankgiving. I am going to go off in a corner now and feel sorry for myself (sniff.) I Ikid you not... Pam in CA RE: Is your Turkey Safe to Eat- CDC Alert - beepbeep - 11-25-2014 That is, I kid you not! Pam in CA RE: Is your Turkey Safe to Eat- CDC Alert - TomK - 11-25-2014 I'd send some over to California if you ask nicely, but it'll turn green by then... RE: Is your Turkey Safe to Eat- CDC Alert - beepbeep - 11-25-2014 Well, green is one of the Christmas colors... Pam in CA |
