A guy at the Museum of Making Music, which is sponsoring a ukulele exhibit said that the Martins are much sought after (but to avoid their first batch, made before they really knew what a 'ukulele is.) Martin and see if they can help me identify just how old it is. We found it when my mother passed away. I wish I could have talked to her to find out the story of how she came to have it. She never played the ukulele as far as I know. Nor did my father or any of us kids.
