RE: Black Sands Subdivision information please. - maud gonne - 06-19-2015 We bought a lot in Black Sands but it fell thru a few days before escrow closed. I am so happy now, in retrospect, that it did. The neighborhood felt like one big crystal meth (ice) lab, although I didn't recognize the signs then. Also, as others have pointed out, shots at night, uncomfortable kapu-type vibes, etc. Of course there's probably nice areas as well - I just didn't find them. RE: Black Sands Subdivision information please. - leilaniguy - 06-19-2015 Wow, I have to disagree with that statement. There hasn't been a violent crime in BSB in quite a while, but I clearly recall that ax murder on Seaview Rd. a couple years ago. RE: Black Sands Subdivision information please. - MDCustom - 06-22-2015 Thanks for all the input. I agree about the mosquitos.. They were quite friendly! They all seemed to want to come and say hello when we visited the lot. When I was there had a "feeling" I couldn't quite describe. Now with all of your input, I think I know what it is. I liked Hawaiian Beaches (for the most part). I see that as a possible better location. Mahalo nui loa! RE: Black Sands Subdivision information please. - leilaniguy - 06-22-2015 I own a lot there on Ono St. that has a water meter installed, has been select cleared and cindered for cheap if you're interested. I plan on moving to Blacksands BTW. different strokes. RE: Black Sands Subdivision information please. - bananahead - 06-23-2015 lots of exaggerating on Black Sands problems posted here... name a subdivision that DOESNT have its problems... all depends on where you are within a subdivision... the negs I see there when I visit friends... very small lots, seems crowded in many areas.. the positives, close to hwy, beach, Kalapana and Pahoa... fwiw, Id live there before many other similarly priced small lot places... ****************************************************************** save our indigenous and endemic Hawaiian Plants... learn about them, grow them, and plant them on your property, ....instead of all that invasive non-native garbage I see in most yards... aloha RE: Black Sands Subdivision information please. - MDCustom - 07-01-2015 Thanks for the offer leilaniguy, but to fit with my plan, I need to find a property with a house already on it. RE: Black Sands Subdivision information please. - Lee M-S - 07-01-2015 well geeze, if you're going to get picky...[] quote: ><(((*< ... ><(("< ... ><('< ... >o> |
