So lot ripped, and rolled. I don't want to bring in soil, or plant grass is there any other options other than what was in above post to control weeds. I want low maintenance as much as possible. Does commercial weed blocking mats work with gravel on top?

Using the herbicide glyphosate in conjunction with mowing and weed-whacking would appear to be the most low-maintenance option. There is a significant amount of maintenance when starting a project de novo, but once you establish an area and practice regular maintenance the amount of required maintenance decreases dramatically.

Do yourself a favor and start with small areas at a time and find a routine that works for you, regardless of method used. After you are comfortable with your success move forward to claim/reclaim larger area(s).

Goodluck! It always helps to build off of others past success - don't try and reinvent the wheel[8D].

These may prevent the existing weeds from growing through, but new weeds are always ready, their seeds borne on wind or birds.

Best "no poison" option seems to be dense groundcover; well-established peanutgrass will block over 90% of stray seeds, leaving just a little bit of hand-pull work.

Weeds here can grow on practically anything. The weedblock kills the existing weeds under it--including damnboo orchids. But new seeds will sprout in the gravel.

Incidentally, I checked HD for the corn weedblock, and it was all gone. Did Ronni get it all?
