New favorite recipe: mix pureed cukes with agar (could use gelatin) syrup made with coconut milk and sweetener; mold, chill, and enjoy. Yummy!
This would work for the frozen cukes.

I have two cats, but even the extra-cautious one is not afraid of cucumbers. Maybe because they've seen so many of them sitting around.

We were talking about terrifying cats with cukes at a meeting today; I showed the host's cat a cucumber in a non-threatening way and she was fine with it.
