Pog was asking you to contribute to the thread by telling others where mosquito repellents could still be found.

You beat me to it, Pog.

I mean it though,

Either by ignorance or arrogance....

Gotta ASSume there is a whole sector of folks who maybe feel they too tough and not going to be affected and so feel they are immune. Maybe even let keiki run around still ..

I don't care, I just hope Dakine and anyone one else who can touch upon them too the seriousness of the situation for the (small) island world they live in will speak up ...

Do what is right now or forever regret.

aloha,
pog

"Foodland Keaau has a few Off sprays left (the pump kind) and a few packets of coils."

Ha. So near, yet so far. Was on the go and ran out of time to check Foodland. Appreciated nonetheless.

I was surprised that Home Depot had window screen in stock. We repaired a couple of damaged screens--yet another line of defense.

Amazon has an array of products in stock, too...

I should have also mentioned that Foodland Keaau also had a bunch of DEET-free repellents available. No idea how effective they are and given how many were still there, local opinion might not be favorable, but I'm sure they're better than nothing.

These things work good here ... No need to 'soak' spray either ... A few spot sprays, put can down and wipe / rub the rest on.

Find old hat and spray it to ward them from face ..

We get the Avon skin so soft sunscreen + bug guard on Amazon. Works great on the kids and is the best stuff I've used so far. Shipping takes forever - so you might already get dengue by the time it arrives.
