lavalava, It depends on who you know.

It also has to do with how hard it is to get a clear title. For instance, if there are a dozen names on the title, verses one, there is a lot more work involved.

AKpilot, happy new year to you.
Yes I have been there many times over a hundred, one of my favorite spots on this island or in the entire world for that matter. I am happy for your possibilities but at the same time seriously Pissed off the property is for sale and I can not buy it.
My kids catch little shrimp in those ponds before casting out for nenue and papio in front of the old portion of left over seawall. The tide differential can really be noticed in that area due to the open ocean channel that leads to the ponds. Plenty of homeless camp for days to weeks and unfortunately leave tons of garbage around the ponds at times, also making it a bit sketchy to camp with my kids anymore. We have loaded up several pickup trucks full of garbage and hauled out unimaginable items from the beach front area in front of that property in the past. Hurricane Iselle had closed off an access road to the ocean near that property for some time, I believe the road has been hand cleared recently though?.

AKpilot

I drove down there today. There is a gate locked with chains and a lock.
On the gate is a large sign reads "No Trespassing""Violators will be prosecuted "

The driveway is actually paved and you could park there and easily walk around the gate.

I don't know what G-69 is rambling on about but he apparently he thrives on trespassing .

30 acres. sub`d into six 5 acre parcels you could do quite well for yourself.

It would cost more to haul the garbage off.. Than the land is worth...IMO..

After the cost of concurrency, SMA/CMA compliance ... barely.

last year or so the health dept. or some govt. agency was doing a homeless count and referred to an area on the Kalapana coast as "Gilligan's Island" is this it?
