RE: VLBA facility and vehicles damaged on Mauna Kea - dmbwest - 03-30-2016 Gypsy, Its your once-in-a-while, sober-esk replies like above that have me going with my now cut and paste: "O.K. I'll bite .. Gypsy, please, you keep saying the same thing over and over ... Its like you have never read all the info provided to you BC you keep repeating the same thing + asking the same questions ... Congrats on your sublime trolling." >>> On all the other stuffs... as per your loopy replies to other posts. RE: VLBA facility and vehicles damaged on Mauna Kea - opihikao - 03-31-2016 Good points, Mr. Tom. Such a frightening experience. Here's a brief update: (*More at link incl. picture) https://local.nixle.com/alert/5617561/ Media Release (update) Hawaii Island police have charged a Kona man with seven offenses in connection with a property damage incident at one of the astronomy facilities near the summit of Mauna Kea on Tuesday morning (March 29). At 10:55 a.m. Thursday (March 31), 30-year-old James Coleman of Kailua-Kona was charged with second-degree burglary, first-degree criminal property damage, attempted first-degree criminal property damage, two counts of second-degree criminal property damage and two counts of second-degree terroristic threatening. His bail was set at $84,000. He remains at the Hilo police cellblock pending his initial court appearance scheduled for Friday (April 1). With apologies to Dr. Seuss RE: VLBA facility and vehicles damaged on Mauna Kea - TomK - 03-31-2016 From Opihikao's Nixle link: "Investigation revealed that Coleman forcibly gained entry to the facility while employees were barricaded inside and then attempted to ram the vehicle of a ranger from the Office of Mauna Kea Management who was attempting to intervene." I hadn't heard Coleman attempted to ram the ranger's vehicle. No wonder the ranger retreated. RE: VLBA facility and vehicles damaged on Mauna Kea - Punatic007 - 03-31-2016 What do you want to bet this lunatic was "inspired" by the TMT protesters? RE: VLBA facility and vehicles damaged on Mauna Kea - TomK - 03-31-2016 Or he could have been high on meth or has a serious mental illness among other possibilities. I don't think anyone should try and link this to TMT protests at this stage. RE: VLBA facility and vehicles damaged on Mauna Kea - Guest - 03-31-2016 Good evening tomk, thank you. Past few maunakea incidents like the supposable bullet hole in the door, or crap spreading on walls. For the most part, have been prematurely blamed on the protesters. This rage that happened up there the other night most likely was also not from any tmt protester's practicing aloha, jmo. I also have a few theories but will save these for now. This is why it's very important for protesters to check their integrity implicitly. Crazy and high people often look for a convenient target and get that from the media. RE: VLBA facility and vehicles damaged on Mauna Kea - TomK - 04-01-2016 Not sure I agree with you, Punatic007, but anyway, these are the charges Coleman is facing.
