Plus every 10th yard had to have this big-ass metal box in it on the easement. Just saying. RE: that HELCO rate hike - kalakoa - 08-25-2017 the economics of burying the lines will never work out Capacity of wire "in free air" is much higher than wire in conduit, and the tall poles create a new class of skilled labor that's well-compensated due to the hazards. Current battery technology already renders grid updates obsolete, but investing at the edges doesn't have enough payback (for them, not for you). |
