Not the End of the World or Puna Today
I know some of you might say, hey, hold your horses, there's still three hours to go until midnight. A lot can happen in the time it takes for a plot to unfold in a long movie or three episodes of an English miniseries based on a book by Dickens. But I'm gonna take my chances and trust that should anything occur, someone will post end-of-times details here. I promise, if the world no longer exists in the morning I'll change the message title to reflect that fact. First thing.

I just spoke to my mother in the UK where it's been tomorrow for quite a few hours, and she said nothing happened there yesterday.

And so it ever was. I'd be worried if the world as we know it DIDN'T end. We'd be stuck with Madonna songs and mullets.
