I doubt all the fringe folks who have defined their lives as misshapen “protectors” are going to have an aha moment and realize the error of their ways.
What is going to matter is which politician will have the integrity to order them hauled away if they pull any of the blockage stunts they did previously.
Should be interesting, if not entirely satisfying...

The reality is that their ancestors studied the stars, learned to navigate by them, and were eventually brought to this mountain by them. I wonder what these early astronomers would tell their descendants if they could speak to them now?

They have already claimed the votes to establish Hawaii as a state was a rigged/illegitimate vote so I'm sure the newspaper poll is equally some sort of conspiracy.

Great one teracore. I left this planet long time ago.(without drugs) Im glad the kids are the ones benefiting the most from the tmt process so far. There might be hope.

Our ohana attended .
The take away we noted most was the huge amount of litter left behind - especially fast food discards and cig butts littering the entire grounds .
This is not taking good care of the aina and created more work for the up keep of UH Hilo personnel who maintain the grounds and rubbish removal .

Thanks for the report mrs mimosa. Sad but normal,people all excited but not sure what about,herded by people with agendas. They expect the groundskeeper to pick up after them, they pay tuition lol

The anti TMT folks are the worst litter bugs we have seen in a very long time. At the rally we got there early by an hour or two with the grand children and the area was pristine and spotless.
After their chanting and speeches cig butts by the 100s littered the lawn area and side walks , open smoking of meth and pakalolo and drinking vodka and beer and plate lunch Styrofoam along with 7-11 and Mc D;s and star bucks empties strewn about .
And the grand children took all this in and wonder what is the problem about TMT .
randomg - you must mean fred - in the country illegally - no drivers license - no insurance and is starving and expects hand outs . He needs to go back to Europe we think .We once helped him with food from our gardens and he complained.So we do not help him any more.

Mimosa - Are you talking about the UH Manoa rally? Your other post says UH Hilo... Was there a rally on Hilo campus with all the litter?
