arrested between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m. Friday for disobedience to police officers.

On Oahu they recognize the difference between civil disobedience, and plain old disobedience. Punishable by law.

How they move construction materials for approved projects on Oahu:
Cops, cops, cops, cops, cops, cops, cops, cops, cops, more cops, wind turbine parts:

Question: Are the police on bikes in the photo because it’s a green energy project? If so, kudos to someone at the Honolulu Police Department for the optics. They’ve created an image without saying a thing, of low carbon bike riding police officers who will face off with a group of pro-lawn chair road blockers. On the news tonight viewers will ask themselves, “well, yeah, why are these protestors against progress that will save our planet? Our keiki’s future?

why are these protestors against progress

They aren't against progress at all. They just don't want it near their house. It's right there at the top is this thread.

I maintain that this problem should be left to the free market. As electricity becomes more scarce, the price will go up. When the price goes high enough, people will respond by using less power, or perhaps by moving to a place with cheaper power.

True.
But if that message can be lost by a visual of green energy bike riding police officers, so be it. Look how easy it was for a few people with an internet connection to turn the zero emissions TMT into the worst polluting, laser blasting, culture destroying, sacrilegious monstrosity ever proposed.

"a few people with internet connections" *assisted by OHA to the tune of $40,000 in social media spending
