RE: Rubber tree poisoning/removal - eigoya - 10-25-2019 Tada, what do you mean by, "poisoning the top?" I put slashes and millstone in a section of tree last week, nothing. I drilled into two "trunks" yesterday with more millstone. So much sap comes out, I don't know how this will work. RE: Rubber tree poisoning/removal - Rob Tucker - 10-25-2019 quote: I used new stuff. RE: Rubber tree poisoning/removal - allensylves - 10-25-2019 @eigoya now that you mentioned it, I think I did drill holes down into the trunk and sprayed into them every 3-4 inches. The sap floats on top of the Milestone when the holes are drilled downwards. Allen Finally in HPP RE: Rubber tree poisoning/removal - eigoya - 10-25-2019 Yes, good points. I'll keep going RE: Rubber tree poisoning/removal - tada - 10-25-2019 "Poisoning the top" is the advice proffered by the others who are more expert than me. I'm saying besides that you also need to sever the side roots running out horizontally from the main root. My theory is it so hard to kill because it's connected to other trees in the area by network of roots. |
