A family of four would need closer to 5 acres at least. I guess DHHL is setting up some really expensive bachelor/bachelorette pads. And so the tragic comedy continues... RE: DHHL Subsistance Farming Lots in Honomu & Pana’ewa - kalakoa - 09-01-2021 I have a book which suggests that 5 acres is the practical minimum, and further assumes that there will be commerce, not self-sufficiency. That said, apparently I can't do math: 16 x half-acre = 8 acres. Maybe the other two are for a corner store? |
