Of course they should be allowed to disembark. If there was corona on board that would be a different story but even then they would have to disembark somewhere eventually.
Some people are losing their sense of humanity.

There are flights from Hilo to LA (nearly) every day. From LA there are many flights to London every day. Not sure what her problem is.

Thanks, it's entirely possible that a passing seagull drops some coronavirus or plague fleas onto the ship.

If it I true no one has the virus on the ship and been at sea 14 plus days. This is Hawaii where the aloha.

Like the toilet paper and the face masks, people are keeping it for themselves.

If they disembark we should do the human thing, show aloha and advise them not to eat fresh local leafy greens.

We could always greet the ship with an angry, torch-wielding mob and do a human sacrifice of a dozen or so passengers to appease whatever primitive deity is necessary to ward off pestilence. That's about the level the whole local system has been functioning on for months and months now.

After being at Sea for this long, its more likely they will catch the bug after disembarking than bringing it with them.
I dont know why anyone would want to give these poor refugees such a hard time.
