You would hate to see a peer review study that shows the more people masked the worse their outcomes with Covid. Delete that immediately so we can keep the masks on the kids.

People in the community can affect DOE policy by being informed and holding them responsible for unscientific policy that hurts children. Being a public forum in Puna I thought informing people is the right thing to do. More light less trash.

I used to get sick with a cold at least twice every year. I haven't been sick since I started wearing a mask to protect myself from Covid. So, to sum up, my study, which involved 1 participant:
"The moderate negative correlation between mask usage and sickness suggests that the use of masks may have had positive unintended consequences"

Oh for chrissakes. ONE study, and it doesn't actually say that masks don't work. As someone around here likes to say, "That's not saying what you think it is", or something to that effect.
If you had an open mind on the subject, you'd consider research that shows masks can be effective, especially N95s.
But go ahead, HawaiiEV, take a stroll into Hilo Medical Center and demand that the personnel remove their surgical or N95 masks for the sake of patient safety. Double dare!
