Does she just do the engineering drawings? or does she also do installation?
and how much did she charge you?

thanks

Is a topographical survey, property survey, and porosity test required for the plan? The boundary survey alone can cost $1000.

I'm pretty sure they did a porosity test, which is just digging a hole, filling it with water and timing how fast it drains.
I was not required to do any surveys as best I can remember.

I just saw this, and Lennie was set up by my contractor. For me, she just did the drawings, I think. People say Nick Moore is very good, and he's been very responsive to me.  But I have to say a contractor has really been worth it, and probably adds only about 20% to the cost. After following along with all the permits that have been pulled and few that had to be redone, I think it is well worth it.

I agree completely. I had Sam Berg as my contractor, and he took care of everything. Well worth it.

He/We used Nick Moore for my excavation and septic, and he did a fantastic job. He had lots of good suggestions when grading the lot and the septic installaton (who knew that there was so much to consider?).

One thing that happened was, he thought (correctly) that the septic should be in a different place than specified on the plan. He was able to consult with the engineer (It wasn't Lennie) and get it approved immediately. And I'm SO glad he did. The original location would have interfered with a garage that was planned for the future.

I also had him come back after the house was completed for some more landscaping work. I can't recommend him highly enough.

I've been through the whole process and learned a lot. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me privately.
