Once your container gets to Hilo, you may want to use Direct Freight Service (DFS)
(808)329-6226 and they have offices in Hilo and Kona.
They offer a number of services including container hauling, palletized freight, lowbed services, on-site forklift service, refrigerated freight service, express delivery, and container storage and rental.

At the point that we were dealing with getting our stuff moved I was so overwhelmed that I had given up on caring if our stuff got lost/taken/thrown overboard. So....I think we did buy the standard insurance, but not the supplemental. They did inventory our stuff (pages and pages and pages). I'm not sure if they locked our container or not. I assume they did, but again... the thought of not unpacking had some pros.
While my overwhelmed-moving-madness-self may seem flakey looking back, Movers Pac Man did a great job. Everything was wrapped about four times and made the journey unharmed.
