A piece of advice - when pouring a foundation go with a higher PSI (3000 at Min, 3500 is better) and add steel - for about $200 you can buy quite a bit of #4 rebar and tie the footings together across the slab.

I agree with Scott. I considered building for a time, and the only way I would have done it is with Cat's help. I do not have the expertise to monitor such a project.

As Scott indicates, that last earthquake was pretty powerful. I got a crack in my tile.......

I agree with her advice but you gott'a make sure every thing compacted correctly, start at the bottom and work up.
