OK, did anyone else go through the container UTube & get to the papercrete UTubes? (not sure it would ever be a building material for Puna - how long to dry a block in Puna if 1 1/2 weeks in NM) Hubby & I just got into these people that even fashioned their own mixer & drive around mixing the 'crete mix!

I can see containers being a totally functional house, and I can' imagine the CC giving a permit on it. I intend to use one as a lockable shed, But I am also contenplating one for a Water Tank. They measure out to 10,000 gallons or close to. Probably need a wood backing for the sides, with 10' roll potable liner, about 80 LF of material and some fairly easy adhered joints. Any reason why not?

For the container/watertank idea, I've located a company who will sell a full sized custom liner for a 20' container for 900.00. Including 14 pieces of ply at say 500.00 and 2000.00 for a container, under 5000.00 should be a good deal for a fully enclosed legal tank. I'm looking into buying bulk, like 5 liners an see what the price could be (+120lbs shipping)? Anyone interested!
