RE: Want a Pole House! - Mark - 03-03-2008 Hi DavidD, Though Polehouses.com says on their website that building a pole house is cheaper than standard construction, I am finding that everyone I speak with in the construction business says it is actually more expensive...especially if you use round poles. They taper at the top which makes everything, all the way up, a custom cut and fit, for one thing. Those round poles sure make it nice to look at though.
