RE: steel buildings - jade - 08-06-2008

I have a US building. We put it up in Jan of this year. The engineer who stamps the blueprints must be from Hawaii and able to oversee the project (Which they don't) Ours was stamped as well. We had to hire a draftsman to make any changes (Which was b.s.)$500.00 later we had an offical stamp that the permit dept. would accept.

Jade:

I have heard that these buildings are not nearly as easy to assemble as suggested by the manufacturer. What was your overall experience? Are you using the building strictly for storage? What method of attahment to the slab did you use?
