It was busy but they said they had saved some trees for Saturday's sale when I asked them if they had any more Ruby Red grapefruit trees. We got the last one at the time but there will be more tomorrow. Get there early, the good stuff is gone quick. There is a table full of sample fruits which are labeled and that is interesting to see, too.

I was there at 8am Friday and it was really crowded. But I had my choice...and got a beautiful Eurika Lemon tree for $20.00. They also sell bags of their special blend of fruit tree fertilizer to be used when planting your tree. Cost $3.00 a bag.
If you haven't gone there yet.... today at 8am would be your best bet for a decent selection.

I just got back today( Saturday morning). I was there at 8:30 A.M., plenty of people already there! But staff was extremely friendly & helpful. I never made it there Friday, But Saturday still had plenty of fruit trees!!!! We picked up a B-9 Rambutan tree, a White Fig Tree.
I wanted to also get a Longan Tree(Cat's Eye). For me these trees offer awesome small fruit. Just brake off the branch at the end where get plenty of fruit. Then put in in the ice box and enjoy about an hour later. Unfortunately my wife wasn't keen on the after taste from Longan fruit. So I have six months to change her opinion on them. Yes, we plan to make the semi-annual trekk Curtistown to buy some fruit trees. Two trees like today is perfect for us. That amounts to four trees annually for us. So our next trekk there(six months later) I wanna get a Mangosteen Tree,and either Longan or Tangerine tree.
Hey, this place was awesome. I suggest everyone to go spock it out. The love & care put into these trees here was obvious. I only wish our local Nursery in HPP would also put as much love & care into their operation too!?

Tony went up to the sale and got a Meyer Lemon, Washington Navel, Dwarf Starburst Grapefruit, Mango and a new kind of Guava tree all the employees up there were snapping up. It's a Phillipino Swirl Guava (??) It's supposed to have more fruit and smaller seeds.

We picked up a Kari star fruit,white fig and Keitt mango from the sale
I got a surprise gift From Robguz. He picked me up a Cari Navel orange. Red to pink flesh.
Love it, can't wait to see it fruit.
