RE: small engine repair - Andrew - 07-16-2008

I'm planning to give Bobbie a visit this Saturday with three pieces of equipment that need some TLC. Is he always there or is it possible to call ahead to make an appointment? Do you usually wait while he fixes the stuff or do you usually leave stuff off and pick it up later. Dory would you mind elaborating on what was fixed and what you paid for it?

Thanks All.
Andrew

Andrew,

His # is 962-6689, but I just showed up & he fixed it while I went off on my errands to Waimea etc for 4 hours. He closes at 5, so that's when I came back. He tore down my Craftsman weedeater & "unseized" the piston. The cord would only pull 1/4 of full length. Apparently it overheated, but there was no serious damage. If it wasn't for Bobbie, I would have had to buy a new one according to everyone else I talked to. As for price, Bobbie swore me to secrecy - officially his hourly rate is $40. But he was VERY reasonable; being polite & talk story long time seem to help. Good luck
