How many buckets of chicken is it gonna take to get this thing built on schedule?

Any Idea of what the timeline is for when what is opening first? BK, KFC or Longs?

LOL... well, if it were anywhere but Hawaii, it could be done in 30 days and open 7 days later.

Damon,
What schedule are you talking about?

Is there a planned completion date for BK, KFC, and Longs. I'm gathering that whoever put in for the project... would give some estimation time for completion.

Do you know when I can p/u a whopper, a bucket of chicken and a prescription for my obesity all at once? [Big Grin]

Completion was suppose to be "sometime" this year.

===============================================

"What I think is interesting is all the developments are going ahead at a time when the news is so depressing," said Jon McElvaney, project manager and listing agent for the Woodland Center outside of Pahoa.

"Site work on the $11 million retail center should start this week. It will include a 29,000-square-foot Longs Drugs featuring a drive-through pharmacy, along with KFC and Burger King restaurants, all of which should be opened by year's end, he said."

Remember folks... Soon is not now.

This is Hawaii and as evident... soon is longer then 2 weeks.[Wink][Big Grin]

I will ask again Kahunascott...

When is the Completion Date Scheduled for? Nobody gives a rats ass when it's gonna start.

We want to know when it's opening.

It was suppose to have started a month ago...Maybe they lost their fianancing being we're in a recession and all.

Although I did get my hair cut at Supercuts in Pahoa last Friday and the girl cutting my hair said she also had cut Jon McElvaney's hair (project manager) early last week and he had said to her that it was still in the bidding process.

And you know what they say....."Only your hairdresser knows for sure"[Big Grin]

Seems a pity for Pahoa to become "generic". Not to mention the health risks of fast food.

Burger King going into Pahoa and next to HD in Hilo?

Aren't we in a recession? or this is BK's recession strategy? I don't get it (no truly - can someone explain this.)
