RE: Can anyone recommend this place? - missydog1 - 09-17-2009 Also try Sushi Rock in Hawi for a low key personal sushi experience. Decor is not fancy, nor the pairings, and it's not Japanese in any sense. Nevertheless you will get sushi that is just made, fresh, and one on one attention. RE: Can anyone recommend this place? - asly - 09-17-2009 Thanks for the suggestions, we should have enough options now to give a few different places a try. Sushi Rock sounds like our style too. RE: Can anyone recommend this place? - Bill - 09-17-2009 I have to say that I have been to Hamya's in Kona twice have and been very pleased. No other experience. Bill RE: Can anyone recommend this place? - John S. Rabi - 09-17-2009 quote:Bill, you will never go wrong with Hayama, it's the best Japanese restaurant on the island. I eat there every week and I mostly see Japanese guests there. Aloha, John S.
