Mine was done for $70/lf - about 13K total cost at about 130 ft elevation a year ago.

Our base rate is $70.00 per foot. Some areas we charge more. The 180 is for a much much larger commercial type well. Please include more than the price when you quote something I've said. :-) Have a great day and feel free to call if you have any questions.

As for the water meter it is a requirement from the state. It isn't really enforced but we still provide them. You take a monthly reading then send it in once a year. It is for statistical information. Plus water is available on a first come first serve basis. So keeping tract helps keep you higher on the list. Though the chances of water limits on this island are very very unlikely.

We wont ever have to worry about this in our life time. It only happens on other islands. We have too much water for that to ever happen. So don't loose any sleep over it.

Yes you need to give each owner access to the well. Another consideration is how to share the cost of electricity etc...
