My chickens used to love slugs and snails. I used to always holler "numie num nums" and they'd race to the fence, I toss the treat to them. They would get a snail and race around like basketball players trying to get it from each other. So funny. I lived outside of Guerneville Ca, where they used to do a slugfest with a cooking contest. I did hot and sour slug soup on year. Ha Ha. Didn't win, but watching the judges sample the entries was fun. Maybe we could do that with coqui frogs?
