Productions at UHH offer a discount at 55. And if you're an AARP member (which you can be at age 50 -- or at any age if your spouse or parner is age 50 -- no civil union required, BTW), you can get all kinds of discounts at the major stores, restaurants, hotels, etc. I always ask even if there isn't any AARP discount signage.

Just came back from Ace Hardware in Pahoa.

I verified that they offer 10% off to anyone over 55 but only on Tuesday.
