Perhaps you didn't realise the W.M. Keck Observatory is on Mauna Kea or that the MK observatories are involved in astrophysics research?

Where is the reference to MK in your blinkered blog link ???? http://phys.org/news/2016-09-universe-transparent.html I see none. Not even a mention of Hawaii. Are you Assuming Punaweb readers ( new and old ) to make some kind of connection ?
Maybe I should start blogging about the gecko in my kitchen as it will probably be more interesting and fun apropos to Puna folks.
